Rabbit jumping hops into the mainstream

“Rabbits will naturally jump over any object in its way.”

Ever heard of rabbit show jumping? It’s exactly what it sounds like, and it’s pretty awesome. Britain just held their first “rabbit grand national” over the weekend, where they took on “their champion counterparts from Sweden.”

Rabbit show jumping has been around since the 1970s, and is practiced in countries including Denmark, Finland, and Norway, as well as Sweden and the UK. The record for high jump is 1m, and for long jump is 3m, both set by Danish rabbits.
