Damn You Auto Correct!

DamnYouAutoCorrect.com is my new favourite site. It posts screencaps of actual texts that people have sent where the autocorrect went TERRIBLY WRONG!

I like FML and MLIA, but this is WAY funnier. Maybe just because I’m a grammar nerd.

In other autocorrecting news, here’s a song from Tripod:

UPDATE: I’ve almost died laughing due to this website. I was reading it at school and had to open another website to make myself stop guffawing. My analysis of why it’s so funny: a) I really love words and autocorrect creates unintentional wordplay; b) I’m a big fan of absurd humour, and these are random to the MAX; c) no one is to blame – for example on FML, people do stupid things or have bad things happen to them so I often feel angry or bad for them, but on DYAC it’s the iPhone’s autocorrect creating the funnies! Can’t feel bad for a machine!

My personal favourite is how “fucking” is always changed to “ducking” on iPhones. They did a good reference to it on Family Guy in the episode where Quagmire finds out his dad is gay.
