Dare to Remember – update + Sammy J & Randy interview

A few days ago, I wrote about the Stephen Lewis Foundation’s Dare to Remember campaign, where citizens are encouraged to dare themselves to do something in order to raise money to fight HIV/AIDS in Africa. I highlighted the dare of Pat Thornton, a Toronto comedian who did a 24-hour-long comedy show. Thornton completed his dare two days ago, and raised over $11,000 which is almost DOUBLE his original goal.

The SLF blogged about it part way through Thornton’s marathon show.

George Stroumboulopoulos, Canadian TV presenter extraordinaire, featured Thornton’s dare on his show a couple of days ago. He has a great story to tell… (He talks about the Dare to Remember starting at 0:50.)

Sammy J and Randy are into the final days of their run of Ricketts Lane at the Sydney Opera House. The SOH posted this great interview with them, including snippets from the show.
