Anyone for Tennis (is it Doody? is it Jase? no, it’s a blog post!)

(That title is an inside joke for AFT fans. Sorry everyone else.)

Anyone for Tennis are one of my favourite musical comedy duos. If ‘musical comedy duos’ seems like a small category, well, Doody and Jason are two of my favourite comedians and people EVER!

Anyone for Tennis are a musical comedy duo from Melbourne. They are hilarious. They are brilliant. And they don’t get enough credit. In my mind, they’re way up there with Flight of the Conchords and… other really good musical comedy duos. Or musical comedians in general. Doody plays guitar, Jase plays bass, and they both sing songs such as Synchronized Divers in Our Dreams and the Choose Your Own Adventure Song. They’re super creative, rather catchy, and definitely original (plus, live performances sometimes include penguins!*).

In addition to being great musicians and comedians, the AFT boys make some fabulous videos (you should follow them on YouTube):

AMAZING promo videos they did for their last couple of MICF shows:

I think this is really funny:

Conclusion: Anyone for Tennis are brilliant. They should have their own TV show or something. You read it here first.

*not real penguins; that’s cruel
