Oh, Bo. Play that oboe!

I can’t get Bo Burnham’s new song out of my head. It is just so darned CATCHY.

Bo is 20 years old. At this year’s Edinburgh Fringe Festival (aka the BIGGEST festival of its kind IN THE WORLD) his show ‘Words Words Words’  was so good that the festival jury didn’t give him the Best Newcomer Award. They didn’t give him the Main Prize (which went to Russell Kane). They gave him a Panel Prize, which basically meant that they thought he deserved AN award, just not the ones that really mean anything. Their reasoning: he’s so young that this can’t possibly be the best show he’ll produce. Thus no Main Prize for him. Confusing? Yeah. But I wasn’t at Edinburgh Fest, so maybe they made the right call. *Shrug*

Here‘s an aggregate of his rave reviews.
